bmi offers European connections through Brussels Airport partnership by Cheap Flights Booker UK

bmi has announced a new partnership with Brussels Airport that it hopes will offer regional customers in the UK connections to more destinations in Europe.

The airline has revised its schedule so that UK passengers can fly to the Belgian capital and take connecting flights onwards without lengthy waits.

It also revealed a new codeshare with Brussels Airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group.

UK travellers flying out of Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford or East Midlands airports will now have an alternative way of reaching Bilbao and Madrid in Spain, as well as Lyon in France and Hamburg in Germany.

bmi Regional managing director Stewart Adams said that the move would allow travellers to avoid Europe"s busiest hubs in London, Paris and Amsterdam.

The news comes shortly after the airline launched new flights to Libya from London.

Starting from the beginning of December, bmi will run daily flights between Tripoli and Heathrow airport.
