Aer Lingus confirms new flights to Spain by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers based in Ireland and Northern Ireland will be offered more access to some popular summer holiday hotspots with Aer Lingus next year.
The airline announced that, from the end of March 2011, it would operate twice-weekly flights from Cork to Palma de Mallorca and from Belfast to Gran Canaria.
Aer Lingus is planning a number of improvements to its network from Cork next year, with frequency set to be increased on the carrier"s route to Amsterdam, meaning travellers will be offered a total of 13 weekly flights to the destination.
There will also be additional services to the popular summer holiday locations of Lanzarote, Tenerife and Faro.
Declan Kearney, Aer Lingus" director of communications, said: "Today"s announcement marks our continued development at Cork airport.
"It reaffirms Aer Lingus" commitment to providing direct, low-fares access for Irish customers to new and exciting destinations and we look forward to welcoming customers on these new services in 2011."
Aer Lingus Regional will continue to provide daily morning and evening services to Manchester and Birmingham from Cork.
