Travellers planning a trip to Australia"s Northern Territory next year have been informed of some of the special events and festivals that will be taking place in the region.
The community of Nauiyu, 240km south-west of Darwin, provides the venue for the annual Merrepen Arts Festival, which is set to run from 3 to 5 June.

Tourism NT also highlighted the Darwin Lions Beer Can Regatta (10 July), the Outback Marathon (30 July) and the Darwin Festival (11-28 August).
