Brazilian Tourist Office Promoting Combined Trips
Brazilian Tourist Office promoting combined trips by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers considering a trip to Brazil have been encouraged to combine the country with some other South American nations.
Glauco Chris Fuzinatto, UK and Ireland director at the Brazilian Tourist Office, pointed out that the long flight required to get to the region from Europe means it makes sense to see more than one destination in a single trip.
"What a lot of people are doing, and what we are promoting, is the combined trip," he added.
"People travelling to South America, they have to travel for at least 11 or 12 hours. So what they can do is either [visit] Argentina and Brazil, or Peru, Chile and Brazil."
Mr Fuzinatto pointed out that people travelling from Europe to South America have to fly over Brazil, so it "makes sense" to visit the country on either the outbound or return journey.
Lonely Planet ranked the South American nation as its second best country to visit in 2011, behind Albania and ahead of Cape Verde, Panama and Bulgaria.
