Liverpool "now linked to over 650 destinations" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
The announcement that easyJet will begin operating three new routes from Liverpool John Lennon airport next year means that the city is now connected to more than 650 international destinations, according to the Liverpool Convention Bureau.
Travellers will be able to catch flights to Salzburg in Austria, Tallinn in Estonia and Brussels in Belgium with the low-cost carrier from 7 February 2011.
Ahead of this year"s EIBTM, the global trade fair for the meetings and events industry, the Liverpool Convention Bureau pointed out that the city is also within easy reach of Manchester airport.
Carol O"Reilly, manager of the organisation, said: "These new routes really do open up the city and further enhance our global connectivity.
"We"ll also be sharing news on updates to the infrastructure, such as the new first class departure lounge at Liverpool John Lennon airport."
EasyJet currently operates flights from Liverpool to several destinations across Europe, including Barcelona, Paris, Berlin and Dubrovnik.
