Monarch to offer more flights over Christmas by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Monarch Airlines will provide more flights to popular holiday destinations over the Christmas period.

The carrier announced that it would add extra services to its winter schedule to meet demand from Britons looking to escape the cold weather at home.

From London Gatwick, Monarch will provide additional connections to Tenerife on 20 December, 27 December and 3 January.

Travellers will also be able to catch flights from Manchester airport to Malaga in Spain on 26 December and 2 January and to Larnaca in Cyprus on 20 December, 22 December and 5 January.

Tim Jeans, managing director of Monarch Airlines, said: "Demand for flights over Christmas continues to soar, particularly to our mid-haul destinations such as the Canary Islands and Cyprus, where the average temperature in December rarely drops below 20 degrees.

"It is great that we are now able to respond to this demand by adding additional flights and increasing the available capacity by over 6,000 seats to these festive hotspots."

The carrier also confirmed that it would be making additional seats available on services from Luton and Manchester to Tenerife and from Gatwick to Lanzarote.
