BA reveals popular Easter holiday destinations by Cheap Flights Booker UK

British Airways has revealed the destinations that have been attracting interest from Britons planning to head overseas this spring to make the most of the extra bank holiday on 29 April, which will celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Locations such as Cancun, New York, Las Vegas, the Maldives, Venice, Dubrovnik and Jersey have all been attracting bookings over the Easter period.

The Caribbean has also been "proving a hit with families", the airline revealed.

BA will be increasing the frequency of its flights to Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua and Tampa from the end of March 2011, providing more travel options for people heading to leisure destinations.

The carrier is also offering a new service to Marrakech in Morocco.

BA spokesperson Claire Bentley said: "We"re … seeing a heavy demand for overseas holidays from our UK customers thanks to the extra bank holiday on 29 April."
