Bmi ranked as top UK airline brand by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Bmi has been ranked as the leading UK airline brand in the 2010 Corporate Reputation Index released by TNS, a leading research company.

The study ranks various organisations based on their business success, favourability, trustworthiness and service quality.

Of all the airlines rated in the latest index, bmi achieved the highest score, just ahead of British Airways.

Bmi"s ranking was boosted by a strong overall reputation score, with BA in fact performing better than its competitor in categories covering favourability (26% compared to bmi"s 19%), trust (34% to 27%), success (40% to 27%) and quality (29% to 19%).

EasyJet was also included in the study and performed well in the success section, with an overall score of 48%.

High-speed rail operator Eurostar received a higher rating than any of the air carriers surveyed.

TNS spokesman Tom Costley said it is "great to see" that travel industry brands are performing above average but pointed out that there is still room for improvement in areas such as customer service.
