IHG to open Hotel Indigo in Phuket by Cheap Flights Booker UK

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced plans to expand its Hotel Indigo brand with a new property in Phuket, Thailand.

The new resort, which will be Hotel Indigo"s second development in Thailand, is expected to open in June 2014.

It will be situated at the northern end of Phuket"s Nai Thon beach, only 15 minutes away from the island"s international airport.

IHG describes the location as a "tranquil and natural" setting providing access to "crystal clear waters" and one of the area"s best beaches.

Jan Smits, the hotel chain"s managing director in Asia and Australasia, said: "Globally, we are aggressively expanding Hotel Indigo"s distribution - our focus is on bringing our newest and fast-growing Hotel Indigo brand into markets where there is demand, with current developments in key cities like New York, Hong Kong and Bangkok, where the first Hotel Indigo in Thailand will be located."
