KLM offering more Caribbean flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK
KLM has announced that it will carry out a significant expansion in the Caribbean this year.
Due to take effect when the airline"s winter schedule is launched on 30 October 2011, the changes will provide an additional 2,600 seats to the region each week from Amsterdam Schiphol.
Travellers will be able to choose from nine weekly flights to Curacao and daily services to Bonaire in the Caribbean.
KLM will also fly to Aruba five times a week and to St Maarten three times a week.
Peter Hartman, the airline"s chief executive officer, said: "For the first time in our history, KLM will make more than half a million seats available to the Caribbean, annually.
"By performing this strong capacity expansion, KLM is offering … holidaymakers many more travel possibilities."
The carrier also confirmed that its winter schedule will feature direct services from Amsterdam to Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador.
UK travellers planning to connect to KLM"s long-haul international routes can catch flights to Amsterdam Schiphol from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and other locations.
