KLM Updates Business Class Service
KLM updates business class service by Cheap Flights Booker UK
KLM has announced a number of changes to its business class service on European flights, which are due to take effect from the start of the summer season on 27 March this year.
Passengers will receive one-and-a-half times more space than before, following the airline"s decision to leave all middle seats empty.
The new KLM Europe Business Class product, which replaces Europe Select, will also provide a socket at every seat to charge electrical appliances, priority departure and arrival services, additional baggage allowances and access to airport lounges.
Changes to the culinary offerings available to passengers include the introduction of new menus providing a range of options based on the flight and departure time, and tableware by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders.
Erik Varwijk, KLM"s executive vice president of commercial operations, said: "Extensive research among KLM business class passengers revealed a clear need for a better, more comfortable service to enable passengers to work or relax on board.
"We are delighted to be able to meet our customers" needs by offering in Europe Business Class a vastly improved, new, and comfortable product."
The Amsterdam-based airline also announced this month that it would be expanding its Caribbean services later this year with the launch of additional flights to Aruba, St Maarten, Curacao and Bonaire.
