New campaign to highlight "magical Disney moments" by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World have launched a new marketing campaign celebrating the "magical moments" that families enjoy when children are told they are going to visit one of the parks.
The concept behind the new initiative was inspired by market research indicating that every family has its own "Disney story".
Due to get underway on 13 February, the campaign will appear on television and online before breaking up into separate but simultaneous promotions for Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World in Florida.
Francois Banon, vice president of communications at Disneyland Paris, said: "When we discovered the importance of creating lasting memories, that come with telling children that a trip to Disneyland Paris or Walt Disney World is on the cards, we realised that the best way to spread some Disney sparkle is by encouraging guests to share their own stories.
"The adverts show the intense culmination of parents planning where, when and how to tell their kids … and the reactions the "big reveal" triggers."
On 6 April this year, Disneyland Paris will host the launch of the Magical Moments Festival, which will invite guests to create their own special occasions and provide new opportunities to meet and interact with popular characters.
Due to run until March 2012, the event will feature appearances from Mickey Mouse and friends, Disney princesses and characters from Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Pirates of the Caribbean.
