United"s Economy Plus seats to feature on Continental planes by Cheap Flights Booker UK

United Airlines" Economy Plus seat is set to remain available on the carrier"s aircraft and also be introduced on Continental Airlines" planes from next year, it has been announced.

The move is set to provide more opportunities for customers to enjoy additional leg room and comfort during their flights.

United Continental Holdings, the airlines" parent company, said that the decision to expand the Economy Plus offering represents a "significant milestone" in the product integration of United and Continental, which decided to merge last year.

Currently, United provides Economy Plus seats on all 359 of its mainline aircraft, with more than 700 planes set to offer the option when the conversion process is complete.

Jim Compton, United Continental Holdings" chief revenue officer, said: "Our customers value Economy Plus and the additional personal space that it provides.

"Customers who sit in Economy Plus are significantly more satisfied with their travel experience, as are travellers who choose other options that enable them to tailor their travel to their liking."

The airlines operate services from hubs including Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York in the US.
