BA, AA and Iberia open lounge in Miami by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Airline partners British Airways, American Airlines and Iberia have opened their first joint premium lounge at Miami"s international airport.

The facility, which is located in concourse E just beyond the security checkpoint on the fifth floor, has been designed to provide "additional seamless service" as part of the carriers" joint business agreement.

Covering an area of 6,000 square feet, the lounge offers seating for a total of 120 guests.

Amenities include a business centre with workstations offering high-speed internet access, flat-screen televisions, a children"s room, showers and complimentary food and drinks.

Peter Dolara, American Airlines" senior vice president in Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America, said the lounge offers a "convenient place to relax" for travellers catching flights to and from Miami.

"This lounge provides another customer touchpoint where our representatives can offer seamless, premium service and enhance the travel experience as part of the joint business," he added.

American Airlines, BA and Iberia launched a joint business agreement last year with the aim of coordinating flight networks, sharing revenue and cooperating commercially on routes between North America and Europe.
