Emirates schedules extra flight from Manchester to Dubai by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers based in northern England will be offered more access to the Middle East this year when Emirates introduces a third daily flight from Manchester to Dubai.

The airline will be the first to operate three daily services from the UK airport to the same long-haul destination.

Due to get underway on 1 May, the Airbus A330-200 flight will boost capacity on the route by 25% and cater for strong demand for travel between Manchester and Dubai.

Last year, Emirates deployed the Airbus A380 on its lunchtime service between the two destinations, becoming the first airline to operate the superjumbo from a regional airport.

"Manchester is a real success story," said Salem Obaidalla, the carrier"s senior vice president of commercial operations in Europe.

"To be adding a third flight just months after introducing our 517-seat A380 superjumbo to the route reflects surging demand for our flights in and out of the north-west of England."

As well as providing direct access to Dubai, Emirates" services to Manchester facilitate connections to its global network of flights throughout the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, the Far East and other regions.
