Poland to offer more bars and restaurants by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers heading to Poland will soon have the opportunity to visit some new bars and restaurants that are due to open across the country.

According to the Polish National Tourist Office, hundreds of new drinking and dining establishments are set to begin welcoming visitors in advance of the Euro 2012 football tournament next summer.

Figures from the Warsaw Business Journal indicate that more than 1,000 new bars will be introduced ahead of the championships, along with dozens of restaurants.

An estimated 1m people are expected to visit Poland during the event, leading to a substantial increase in demand for tourist facilities and amenities.

Bogdan Becla, acting director of the Polish National Tourist Office, said: "It"s good news that Poland is investing in bars and restaurants which will give visitors to our country more choice when they head out to eat and drink."

The country is teaming up with Ukraine to host the Euro 2012 tournament, which will run from 8 June to 1 July next year and feature matches in cities such as Warsaw, Gdansk, Kiev and Donetsk.
