Ticket sales launched for Euro 2012 by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Football fans can soon begin planning their trips to Poland and Ukraine following the launch of ticket sales for the Euro 2012 tournament.

Uefa president Michel Platini got the ticket sales process underway at an official ceremony at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw earlier this month.

The championships will feature matches in eight cities: Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Poznan in Poland and Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkov and Lviv in Ukraine.

Almost 1.5m seats are available and hundreds of thousands of people are expected to travel to the two host countries.

Tickets will range in price from the equivalent of £25 to £510 based on the match and seating location and will be exclusively available from the Uefa website until 31 March.

Bogdan Becla, acting director of the Polish National Tourist Office, said: "Euro 2012 will be a great event for Poland next summer and we"re really looking forward to welcoming people from all over Europe.

"The tournament will give visitors the chance to experience Polish culture, try our wonderful food and enjoy our famous hospitality."
