Currency Firm Recommends Non Euro Destinations
Currency firm recommends non-euro destinations by Cheap Flights Booker UK
British travellers will get more for their money in several foreign countries this year, according to International Currency Exchange (ICE).
The company revealed that a "small rebound" in sterling against the euro will benefit people heading to the eurozone, although those venturing further afield will get more for their money in destinations such as Hungary, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Joanna Williams, head of marketing for the currency exchange firm, revealed a "massive hike" in orders for the Hungarian forint, while Egypt is also attracting interest from bargain hunters.
"Despite the fact that [the] cost of living is relatively low, average orders for the Hungarian forint have increased from £334 to £507 year on year," she said.
"Egypt has traditionally been a popular destination for Easter and there are now some bargains to be had in the key resorts as confidence returns."
Ms Williams went on to say that Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE are good options for a "five-star break".
