A display currently showing at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence celebrates the work of three of Spain"s most influential and celebrated artists: Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro and Salvador Dali.
Visitors can see a selection of pieces created by Picasso during his pre-Cubist period at the beginning of the 20th century, as well as works by Dali from 1920 to 1925, before the emergence of the Surrealism movement.
The exhibition will be based at Palazzo Strozzi until 17 July 2011.
Culture vultures visiting Italy this year can also stop off at the Maxxi Museum in Rome to see a show celebrating Michelangelo Pistoletto, who is considered one of the most important representatives of the Arte Povera movement.
This display will run until 15 August, while a showcase of paintings by the likes of Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Paul Cezanne at the Mart Museum in Rovereto will continue until 24 July this year.
