Delta Boosts Food Choices
Delta boosts food choices by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Delta Airlines has added a number of new items to its EATS food-for-sale menu, giving passengers more choice and also offering the opportunity to donate to the American Cancer Society with every purchase.
Among the new additions is a children"s plate containing a peanut butter and jam sandwich on wholegrain bread and a selection of fruit.
Travellers catching flights with Delta can also order Ben and Jerry"s ice cream on afternoon and evening services from 1 June, while a blend of Jack Daniel"s whiskey with honey liqueur will be available from the same date.
The new items complement the existing range of foods available for purchase onboard the carrier"s aircraft, which includes breakfast wraps, sandwiches and fruit plates.
Joanne Smith, Delta"s senior vice president of inflight service, said: "We know our customers can"t always fit mealtimes into their busy travel schedules, so Delta makes it easier by offering a selection of quality food onboard.
"We have a variety of options to please all of our customers - whether you"re looking for a light snack or a full meal."
The airline is currently pursuing a number of onboard improvements across its fleet, including the addition of personal, in-seat entertainment for business and economy passengers on all long-haul international flights.
