Travellers will soon be heading to Kaunas, Lithuania"s second biggest city, to experience the International Hanseatic Days festival.
Due to run from 19 to 22 May, the event will attract visitors to the destination from countries across the world.
The festival celebrates the culture and history of the Hanseatic League, a trade organisation that comprised almost 200 European cities between the 13th and 16th centuries.
More than 100 special events are set to take place in Kaunas, including a medieval fair, arts and crafts markets, music, a carnival and servings of traditional food.
Visitors can also look forward to seeing a tournament pitting knights against one another in staged battles, while local museums will remain open until the early hours for all four days of the festival.
