New Attractions Open In Queensland
New attractions open in Queensland by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers exploring Queensland during trips to Australia this year can check out some new attractions in the state, such as the professional driving simulators at Racecentre on the Gold Coast.
Racecentre is one of only a few professional racing simulation complexes in the world, according to Tourism Queensland.
Designed to give visitors a realistic motorsports experience, the attraction allows participants to go head to head in the car of their choice, selected from a range including Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Porsches.
The simulators feature full-motion platforms, Dolby surround sound and wrap-around screens to ensure that would-be racers have an immersive experience.
Another recent addition to Queensland"s visitor offering is the Giant Redback ride at Aussie World on the Sunshine Coast, which is named after a spider endemic to Australia.
The ride seats 24 people on a platform with outward-facing seats, which rotates clockwise and anti-clockwise and reaches a height of 16 metres.
It is the first of two attractions opening at Aussie World this year, with the second set to be unlike anything else on the Sunshine Coast, according to the local tourist board.
