Scotland To Boast New Cultural Attractions

Scotland to boast new cultural attractions by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers will be catching flights to Glasgow and Edinburgh this year to visit some of the cultural attractions being unveiled and reopened across Scotland.

Among the highlights is the Riverside Museum, the new Zaha Hadid-designed institution that will begin welcoming guests on 21 June.

Located on the Clyde next to the tall ship Glenlee, the museum will feature exhibits including three streets re-creating different periods in history, from the 1890s to the 1980s.

Glasgow is also home to the Hunterian Museum, which will reopen in September following a major refurbishment with a new permanent gallery dedicated to the story of the Romans in Scotland.

In Edinburgh, the National Museum of Scotland and the National Portrait Gallery are due to be reopened on 29 July and 30 November respectively, after undergoing upgrades designed to improve the visitor experience.

Travellers will also be able to visit Stirling Castle Palace from 4 June to explore six ground floor apartments that have been developed to show how they may have looked in the 16th century.
