Triple Launch Rollercoaster Unveiled In Florida
Triple-launch rollercoaster unveiled in Florida by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Florida is now home to its first triple-launch rollercoaster, following the unveiling of Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens over the weekend.
The ride takes inspiration from the world"s fastest land animal and uses repelling magnets to send guests shooting along the track at speeds of up to 60mph.
During the journey, riders will be taken into four subterranean trenches, around a rocky canyon and through a heartline roll inversion.
Cheetah Hunt lasts more than 90 seconds and covers some 1,350 metres of steel track, making it Busch Gardens" longest rollercoaster.
It is also the most expansive thrill ride in the theme park"s history, spanning an area of 13 acres.
Holidaymakers visiting Busch Gardens this year can also see Cheetah Run, another new attraction providing a home for 14 of the big cats which inspired the ride.
Jim Dean, president of the park, said: "Cheetah Hunt will be an iconic coaster for Busch Gardens. It"s the longest coaster yet and families are sure to enjoy its repeatability.
"With amazing views to both watch it and ride it, three launch points and a one-of-a-kind animal habitat, Cheetah Hunt and Cheetah Run solidify Busch Gardens" portfolio of family experiences."
