BA launches Faro and Malaga flights from London City by Cheap Flights Booker UK

British Airways has expanded its range of leisure services on offer from London City airport with the introduction of flights to Faro in the Algarve and Malaga in southern Spain.

Four weekly services to the Portuguese destination and three weekly connections to the Costa del Sol gateway are now in operation.

Furthermore, an existing BA route from London City to Nice has been boosted to provide twice-daily flights until September.

The airline"s subsidiary BA CityFlyer will also increase frequency on services to Mallorca and Ibiza, providing ten links to the destinations every week from July to September.

Luke Hayhoe, the carrier"s commercial manager, revealed that the decision to launch leisure operations from London City last year was in "direct response" to customer demand.

"They proved so popular, particularly during the summer months, that we have decided to expand them further this year," he added.

"The addition of two extra aircraft to the fleet means we can also offer year-round services to the summer and winter sun destinations of Malaga and Faro."
