BA signs codeshare agreement with airberlin by Cheap Flights Booker UK
British Airways has announced that it will be running a codeshare agreement with airberlin from next month onwards, meaning that passengers can book onto flights to Nuremburg, Munster and Paderborn through the BA website.
The German airline also offers connecting flights to other European destinations not currently served by BA, such as Palermo and Brindisi in Italy.
This codeshare agreement will come into effect from 5 July, in advance of airberlin joining the oneworld flight network in April of next year, a move that is being sponsored by BA.
Keith Williams, chief executive officer of BA, said: "The new airberlin services are the perfect complement to our existing European routes."
Airberlin offers a range of flights to 40 destinations across Europe, as well as intercontinental flights to Dubai, Delhi and Singapore.
Furthermore, a new service to Costa Rica will be launched in November, the airline recently announced.
