Ski Club recommends summer snowsports trips by Cheap Flights Booker UK

The Ski Club of Great Britain has encouraged snowsports enthusiasts to consider taking a skiing or snowboarding trip during the northern hemisphere"s summer months.

Travellers can choose from dozens of resorts in southern hemisphere countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Argentina, or head to European destinations that offer summer skiing.

Al Morgan, the Ski Club"s information manager, said snowsports holidays during warmer months are "great fun" and revealed that more people are recognising the benefits of these trips.

In a recent poll by the group, 54% of respondents said they would like to spend their summer in the mountains.

"Why? Well, you can enjoy the snow in the mornings and get active with tennis, hiking or biking in the afternoons," said Mr Morgan.

"You can also brush up on your technique on one of the many courses on offer, or take a real adventure by heading down to South America."

European resorts that offer summer skiing include Tignes and Les Deux Alpes in France, which will open on 18 June, and Cervinia in Italy, which will welcome visitors from 2 July.
