Women"s World Cup opens up the cities of Germany by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Football fans may discover a range of exciting cities in Germany this summer, as the Women"s World Cup is being hosted in the European country.
The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) has pointed out that there is plenty to explore, from Dresden to Wolfsburg and from Augsburg to Frankfurt.
England ladies will play their first match of the tournament against New Zealand in Dresden on 1 July, and football fans with something to celebrate will find over 150 bars and clubs to soak up the local nightlife.
Jeanette Schuchmann, deputy director at the GNTB, added: "The town itself, and also the countryside, is a real treasure trove for excursions along the Elbe by bike, experiencing the scenery and castles along the way."
Other host cities taking part include Berlin, Leverkusen, Mönchengladbach and Sinsheim, and local hotels could be due an increase in visitors.
Ms Schuchmann added that Berlin saw 20m visitors stay at least one night last year, due to its "world-class" music, art and culture.
