BA Travel Tips For Children
BA travel tips for children by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Parents can make preparations ahead of a flight so that the experience is an enjoyable one, British Airways (BA) staff said.
The airline suggested that carers bring a child"s favourite comforter with them when flying so that young travellers settle easier, and BA advised that parents to take a bag of treats with them to distract children during take-off and landing.
Senior first officer and mother of two, Carley Lear, said: "Children of all ages are very welcome to come to the flight deck to meet the pilots. The best time is after landing when passengers are disembarking."
Justin Cox, senior cabin crew member, suggested that families make use of the in-flight entertainment system, and he said it is advisable to bring a portable DVD player and pre-programmed iPod with a child"s favourite films and music.
In June, International Airlines Group, the company formed by the collaboration of BA with Iberia, reported an increase in the number of passengers travelling with the airline.
