American Airlines boosts product range on international flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK

American Airlines has announced a new range of premium products that will be introduced in first and business class cabins on select international services from 1 September.

Passengers on flights between the US and London Heathrow will be among the first to receive the new offerings, which include a custom-designed quilted bed topper, pyjamas and slippers.

A lightweight day blanket, premium duvet, pillow and amenity kit featuring skincare products and other items will also be available.

Travellers in American Airlines" business class cabins on flights between the US and Heathrow operated by Boeing 777s, 767-300s and international 757s will also receive a premium duvet, pillow, slippers and amenity kit.

Rob Friedman, the carrier"s vice president of marketing, said: "We believe this new suite of premium products is a wise investment because it enables us to provide an added level of comfort and style to the inflight environment - a sentiment applauded by customers on international test flights earlier this month.

"This initiative to further complement our premium customers" travel experience is another example of our commitment to make American the airline of choice for global travellers."

The full range of products will be rolled out in first class cabins on all international routes operated by Boeing 777 aircraft from 1 October.
