EasyJet announces Fuerteventura flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK

EasyJet has announced that it will expand its network from London Gatwick next year with the introduction of flights to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.

The twice-weekly route from the airline"s biggest base to the second largest isle in the popular holiday archipelago will be launched on 28 March 2012.

Highlighting the attractions on offer to holidaymakers visiting Fuerteventura, easyJet noted the island"s long stretches of white sandy beaches, secluded coves and coastal sites that are popular among watersports enthusiasts.

It also boasts more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year.

Paul Simmons, the airline"s UK director, said: "Our new route from Gatwick to Fuerteventura will give passengers easy and affordable access to a perfect all-year-round beach holiday destination.

"Besides its appeal to sun worshippers, the island is one of Europe"s best locations for surfing and diving and is another fantastic addition to the 92 destinations we already fly to from London Gatwick."

Fuerteventura is the ninth location to be added to easyJet"s network from its London base this year, with flights to Seville, Aberdeen and Zagreb among the other launches.
