EasyJet has launched its summer 2012 schedule and confirmed that it will provide more flights to several popular destinations across Europe and further afield.
Capacity has been increased on routes to cities such as Barcelona, Alicante and Madrid in Spain and the Italian capital of Rome.
The low-cost airline will also provide access to less mainstream areas, such as Israel, Jordan and Morocco, and commence services from London Southend airport to destinations including Amsterdam, Belfast and Faro.
Overall, easyJet"s summer 2012 network will encompass more than 110,000 flights to over 300 locations.
Paul Simmons, the carrier"s UK director, said: "With winter fast approaching, the launch of our summer 2012 schedule allows passengers to look forward and book early to secure the best fares for annual sunshine holidays and weekend getaways next year."
He continued: "In addition to this we"re adding even more choice in 2012 with the announcement of a host of new destinations from our UK bases in the coming weeks, so watch this space."
EasyJet recently announced a new service linking its biggest base, London Gatwick, to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, which will operate twice a week from 28 March 2012.
