EasyJet Promoting City Breaks In Holland
EasyJet promoting city breaks in Holland by Cheap Flights Booker UK
EasyJet has launched a partnership with the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions (NBTC) to promote city breaks in the European country.
One of the goals of the three-year marketing campaign - which will focus on eight Dutch destinations - is to attract an extra 750,000 city break visitors from the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The project also aims to increase annual visitor spending in the targeted cities by €300m (£259.5m).
Paul Simmons, easyJet"s UK director, said: "We have been flying to Amsterdam since 1996 and have carried a total of 23m passengers to and from the city over that time.
"Working closely in partnership with the NBTC will only help to strengthen our commitment to making travel easy and affordable for passengers travelling to Holland from all over Europe and boost tourism to the country."
The airline currently operates 16 routes to Amsterdam Schiphol airport from locations across Europe, including Manchester, Stansted, Belfast, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Bristol, Gatwick and Luton in the UK.
It plans to introduce flights to the Dutch capital from airports including Glasgow and London Southend before spring 2012.
