Kenya Visitors Urged To Go On Safari
Kenya visitors urged to go on safari by Cheap Flights Booker UK
People planning a trip to Kenya have been urged to make the most of the country"s natural attractions and see some of its diverse wildlife on a safari.
Angie Sloan, UK and Ireland director of the Kenya Tourist Board, highlighted a recent survey by the organisation which found that the African nation is the most popular destination for safari holidays.
More than four out of five (83%) respondents said they would welcome the opportunity to visit the country"s national parks and game reserves to see the "big five" - the lion, leopard, African elephant, cape buffalo and rhinoceros.
Ms Sloan pointed out that travellers do not have to limit themselves to game drives and wildlife spotting during a trip to Kenya, as the nation also boasts holiday resorts and destinations along the coast.
"Kenya is … the perfect destination for twin-centre holidays where visitors can tie in a safari in one of the 59 national parks with a relaxing beach break," she said.
Another country known for its wildlife and coastal scenery is South Africa, which is home to the famous Kruger National Park.
