Travellers Given Reasons To Visit Wales

Travellers given reasons to visit Wales by Cheap Flights Booker UK

VisitBritain has encouraged travellers to pay a visit to Wales in the near future to check out some of the diverse attractions on offer in the country.

The tourism agency published a list of 12 reasons to take a break in Wales in 2012, which included castles and historic houses like Beaumaris on the isle of Anglesey and Carreg Cennen in Carmarthenshire, which is one of ten locations currently vying for the title of the UK"s most romantic ruin.

People with a passion for nature and the outdoors can check out one of the three Welsh national parks - Snowdonia, the Pembrokeshire coast and the Brecon Beacons.

Travellers catching flights to Cardiff and staying in hotels in the capital city can visit local attractions such as the National Museum, which will soon present works by the likes of Renoir and Van Gogh in a new art exhibition area.

Other experiences recommended by VisitBritain include visiting seaside towns like Llandudno and New Quay, riding narrow-gauge steam railways and trying some of the adventurous activities on offer in Wales, such as rock climbing, white-water rafting and caving.
