Monarch begins Sharm el Sheikh flights by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Monarch Airlines has expanded its leisure network this week with the launch of flights to Sharm el Sheikh, the popular Egyptian resort on the Red Sea.

Services will operate three times a week from London Gatwick and four times a week from Manchester.

Kevin George, Monarch"s managing director, said the carrier was "delighted" to be launching its first scheduled route to Sharm el Sheikh and confirmed that the flights will operate year-round.

Travellers visiting the destination can try some of the many activities that form the heart of the local tourism industry, with scuba diving the most popular pursuit of all.

Quad biking, parasailing and horse riding are also available, along with camel treks into the desert.

Monarch Airlines, which is currently focusing on its scheduled services, recently announced that it will be expanding its network in summer 2012 to include flights to Italy, Croatia and Crete from Manchester, Birmingham, Luton and Gatwick airports.
