NCL hosts Blue Man Group"s 500th show at sea by Cheap Flights Booker UK

The Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) ship Norwegian Epic this month hosted Blue Man Group"s 500th performance at sea.

Following the show, the cast were presented with a special cake made by the vessel"s executive chef Peter Haselsberger before joining crew members for a private after-party.

Blue Man Group is known for producing and performing stage shows and concerts that combine popular music, comedy and multimedia elements.

The company made its debut at sea in the 685-seat Epic Theater in June 2010 and continues to prove highly popular among passengers, with eight live appearances four nights a week.

Norwegian Epic is described by NCL as the line"s "largest and most innovative freestyle cruising ship" and has been named the industry"s best liner for entertainment.

It is currently operating eastern Caribbean round-trip voyages from Miami and will head to Europe in April next year for a series of sailings in the Mediterranean.

Other ships in the NCL fleet include Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Jade.
