New Isle of Man visitor guide launched by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers planning to book flights to the Isle of Man and hotels on the island for a break next year can now plan their trip with the help of the 2012 Visitor Guide.

The local government commissioned new photographs for the publication, including a cover shot of Corrin"s Folly that highlights some of the unique sights on offer on the island.

Inside the guide, readers will see a bright new colour scheme and information on the destination"s various attractions and experiences.

John Shimmin, minister for the Department of Economic Development, said the authority had "pulled out all the stops" to make sure that all aspects of the Isle of Man are covered, from its landscapes and outdoor activities to local history and vintage transport.

"I am looking forward to an exciting year for tourism in 2012 and confident that our Visitor Guide will encourage people to visit the Isle of Man," he added.

A number of major events will be returning to the island next year, such as the annual walking festival (13 to 18 May) and the TT motorcycling competition (26 May to 8 June).
