New Mediterranean routes from bmibaby by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Bmibaby, the low-cost subsidiary of bmi, has announced that it will launch two new routes to popular Mediterranean destinations for the summer 2012 season.
The airline will introduce a service from East Midlands airport to Catania, Sicily on 27 May, offering a weekly connection on Sundays until 30 September 2012.
Holidaymakers will also be able to catch flights to Mahon, Menorca from Belfast City airport, which will operate up to twice a week on Mondays and Fridays from 15 June to 24 September next year.
Julian Carr, managing director of bmibaby, said the new route to Sicily complements the airline"s existing links to the Italian cities of Naples, Venice, Alghero and Verona from East Midlands, while the Menorca service will run alongside flights to Malaga, Alicante, Faro and other popular sun holiday destinations.
"We are delighted to offer even more destinations for summer 2012 and customers can continue to enjoy our great bmibaby service and low fares," he added.
The carrier will also be increasing frequencies to some of its most popular locations next year, including Barcelona, Murcia and Malta from East Midlands airport.
