Provisional New 7 Wonders of Nature announced by Cheap Flights Booker UK

The first vote count has been completed in the New 7 Wonders of Nature campaign, meaning a provisional list of the world"s most spectacular locations has been announced.

Asia and South America are well represented in the list, with Jeju Island in South Korea, Halong Bay in Vietnam, the Amazon rainforest and Iguazu Falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil all featuring, along with Komodo in Indonesia and the Puerto Princesa underground river in the Philippines.

The organisers of the campaign stressed that the list is not definitive and could change once the votes are fully checked and independently verified, a process that will continue until early next year.

A total of 28 locations made it through to the final stage of the search, with the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, Australia"s Great Barrier Reef and the Maldives also among the finalists.
