Bmibaby to fly to two new ski destinations by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Britons planning a ski holiday during the 2011-12 winter season will be able to reach two new destinations in France with bmibaby.
The carrier announced that it will launch services from East Midlands airport to Chambery on 16 December and to Toulouse a week later.
Chambery, one of the main gateways to the French Alps, will be served on Mondays and Fridays, while Toulouse will also receive two weekly flights, providing greater access to the Pyrenees mountain range on the border between France and Spain.
More than 15,000 people are expected to fly to the cities during the forthcoming winter season.
Bmibaby managing director Julian Carr said the carrier, a low-cost subsidiary of bmi, was "delighted" to be adding the destinations to its network from East Midlands.
"As the gateways to the best French ski resorts both in the Alps and the Pyrenees, the new routes will enhance our appeal to skiers and snowboarders," he added.
The airline also operates flights to Barcelona, Venice, Prague, Amsterdam and other European city break hotspots from East Midlands airport.
