EasyJet Passenger Marks Milestone At Copenhagen Airport
EasyJet passenger marks milestone at Copenhagen airport by Cheap Flights Booker UK
An easyJet passenger was welcomed at Copenhagen airport this week as the one millionth person to pass through CPH Go, the base"s dedicated low-cost pier.
Pia Lindehammer, who arrived on a morning journey from Berlin after celebrating her birthday with a friend, was presented with tickets for two flights to Lisbon and a gift voucher for duty-free shopping.
CPH Go opened at Copenhagen airport 13 months ago.
Carsten Norland, vice president of sales and marketing for the base"s operating company, said the fact that 1m travellers have passed through the pier in this time vindicates the decision to build the facility.
He added: "EasyJet has been growing steadily by adding more destinations as well as additional frequencies to existing destinations and we are working with them to exploit the future growth potential at Copenhagen."
The low-cost airline operates flights to Copenhagen from three airports in the UK - London Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester.
