Emirates launches baggage delivery service in Dubai by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Travellers catching flights to Dubai International with Emirates can now make use of a baggage delivery service introduced by the carrier at the airport"s third terminal.

Passengers can access the facility just after passing the immigration counters and have their bags delivered anywhere in the UAE, meaning they do not have to wait to pick up their luggage on arrival.

Dedicated agents will collect the baggage, clear customs on travellers" behalf and ensure the items are transported to the requested location.

The service costs 200 dirhams (£35) for up to four bags being sent anywhere in Dubai, Ajman and Sharjah and 250 dirhams for delivery within Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Mohammed H Mattar, divisional senior vice president of airport services for Emirates, said the airline aims to provide its passengers with a "seamless and efficient" travel experience.

He added: "The new baggage delivery service is just another initiative towards ensuring the comfort and convenience of our customers when they travel through Terminal 3."
