KLM launches moviemaking iPhone app by Cheap Flights Booker UK

KLM has announced the launch of an app that allows travellers to turn their journeys into "inspiring movies".

The KLM Passport, which is available for free download for the iPhone, offers users a choice of seven themes and invites them to select the best pictures and videos taken during their trip.

These items are then turned into a short film that can be shared directly via Facebook.

KLM passengers using the new application can also save their creation on their iPhone"s camera roll to send and share it elsewhere.

The app is currently available to download from the iTunes Store.

In another new provision for customers, the Dutch airline recently started serving meals created by Flemish chef Peter Goossens in business class cabins.

The new culinary options will be available on intercontinental flights from Amsterdam until September 2012, giving travellers plenty of time to sample dishes designed by a culinary expert best known for his work at Hof van Cleve, a restaurant in western Belgium that boasts three Michelin stars.
