Virgin to serve Christmas dinner at 35,000ft by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Virgin Atlantic has reassured passengers planning to catch flights on 24, 25 and 26 December that they will be able to enjoy traditional Christmas dinners onboard.

The airline will be serving meals with all the festive trimmings, including turkey, stuffing, roast potatoes, red cabbage, sausages wrapped in bacon, Brussels sprouts and gravy.

Economy and premium economy customers travelling from the UK will receive a mince pie and chocolate Santa after their dinner, while travellers in the Upper Class cabin will be served mince pies and a clotted cream dessert alongside a glass of Pimm"s.

Julie Southern, Virgin Atlantic"s chief commercial officer, pointed out that Christmas is traditionally a very busy time for travel as people cover long distances to see family and friends.

"We expect to carry around 38,000 passengers over this period and we are delighted to offer them some festivities onboard to get them in the mood for Christmas," she added.

The airline"s network includes flights to New York, Sydney, Cape Town, Hong Kong and other popular international destinations from the UK.
