Cathay Pacific Welcomes Chance To Offer More Flights To Taiwan
Cathay Pacific welcomes chance to offer more flights to Taiwan by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Cathay Pacific has welcomed the signing of a new air services arrangement (ASA) between authorities in Hong Kong and Taiwan, which will allow the airline to introduce more flights to Taipei, the Taiwanese capital.
The carrier currently offers 108 weekly services to the city and said that it is always interested in boosting this frequency and introducing links to other locations in Taiwan.
An increase in the number of flights between Hong Kong and Taiwan will provide more travel options for people exploring China and other parts of east Asia.
A spokeswoman for Cathay Pacific said: "We are … encouraged that more flights will be made available between Hong Kong and Taiwan when the ASA becomes effective."
The company"s sister airline Dragonair also operates between the two destinations, with three daily flights to Taipei and six daily services to Kaohsiung.
Cathay Pacific recently announced details of a new premium economy class and confirmed that a new economy class seat will be introduced on most of its long-haul aircraft from March.
