Denver Restaurant Week to return for eighth outing by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Food lovers can catch flights to Denver this year to enjoy some discount meals in the city.

The eighth annual Denver Restaurant Week (DRW) will return from 25 February to 9 March, offering multi-course meals at nearly 300 eateries for fixed prices of $52.80 (£34.40) for two people and $26.40 for one.

For the first time this year, diners will be offered a sneak preview of the menus on offer during the festival if they visit the local tourist board"s Facebook page.

People planning a trip to the city simply have to log on to Visit Denver"s page on the social networking website from 17 January and click the "Like" button to access a tab containing information about the dishes that will be available.

Menus will also be published on the event"s official website on 20 January.

Justin Bresler, vice president of marketing for Visit Denver, said: "The fun of DRW is looking at the menus and trying to decide where to go.

"This year, we"re offering prospective diners three extra days of viewing the menus."

DRW proved highly popular in 2011, with some 360,000 meals served.
