BA Urges Passengers To Make The Most Of Baggage Allowance
BA urges passengers to make the most of baggage allowance by Cheap Flights Booker UK
Travellers who will be catching flights to their holiday destination this year have been urged by British Airways to make the most of their airline"s baggage allowance.
The carrier lets customers check in bags weighing up to 23kg, with maximum dimensions of 90cm by 75cm by 43cm, for free.
Passengers can also take one piece of hand luggage onboard, plus a laptop or handbag, as long as the item does not weigh more than 23kg and can be lifted into overhead lockers.
Abigail Comber, head of marketing at BA, said it is important for travellers to be aware of these restrictions and to take full advantage of the allowance.
"I think the best tip is to understand what your baggage allowance is," she said. "British Airways gives you 23kg to check on and take onboard as well. So, make the most of it."
Ms Comber also offered some advice regarding travel insurance, highlighting the importance of checking one"s policy and going over the small print before setting off.
