Carnival to launch first extended cruise programme from UK by Cheap Flights Booker UK

Carnival Cruise Lines has announced that it will deploy the Carnival Legend on a diverse range of European voyages in 2013, including the company"s first extended programme from the UK.

The line will also introduce its first Norwegian fjords itinerary and sailings to the Baltic, Mediterranean, British Isles and other regions.

Among the highlights of the programme are 12-day trips to Norway and western Europe from Dover and Mediterranean cruises of the same duration departing from the UK port, Venice and Barcelona.

In total, the Carnival Legend will operate 17 European voyages between 22 April and 31 October 2013, calling at 34 ports in 18 countries.

Gerry Cahill, the cruise line"s president and chief executive officer, said the season will encompass a "truly outstanding" collection of ports.

He went on to say that guests will enjoy an exciting and diverse range of experiences, "from viewing breathtaking Norwegian fjords and the lush Irish countryside to visiting centuries-old landmarks and exploring Unesco World Heritage cities such as St Petersburg and Tallinn".
