Spring Walking Week will showcase some of the destination"s natural sights and scenery during a series of walks between 12 and 19 May.

For keen hikers, one of the highlights of the event is a 48-mile trek around the entire island.

Also returning this year is the Jersey Food Festival, which the local tourist board describes as a "celebration of the very best of Jersey"s food producers, chefs, artisans and restaurateurs".

Various activities will be available between 19 and 27 May, such as foraging for seafood, learning more about the origins of the Jersey Royal potato and sampling the dairy produce of the island"s famous cows.

Other events coming to the destination this year include the Liberation International Music Festival (9-13 May) and the International Motoring Festival (25-27 May).
